Resvn Suspended??
Query for...
2621 Tamilnadu Express 4 Sep 2008 to 11 Sep 2008 returns the result RESVN SUSPENDED. (SL and 3A) It mentions no. of tickets available before and after these dates. What does this mean? Train cancelled for eight days?? . . .

I heard that a few platforms of New delhi station will be closed down for construction work. It could mean cancellation of some trains since so many trains can be acoomodated at the remaining platforms.

This indication is only temporary, Should get rectified at the earliest. --- If there are no PFs, the train might get terminated in NZM and rarest of the rare chances for its cancellation!!!! |

Reservation Suspended messages have been appearing quite often, particularly for trains departing/arriving at New Delhi. Some Imers have already pointed out in their earlier posts. I think, it may be more of a software problems of the railway website rather than railway acutally meaning it.

it does appear to just be a glitch in the website, I would try again tomorrow or in a few days. I had the same thing not allowing me to book some legs of my trip last week but tonight it let me book it all! yay!

Few weeks ago I was trying to book some places from Jhansi to Varanasi at the only daily train and the message RESVN SUSPENDED is there since then, have open a thread a month ago. The suspension is for all seats since 9th August. Oddly enough, I've got some 3tier places in the train who runs only once a week from Bhopal
