Reserving Overnight trains
We will soon (Feb) need an overnighter from Agra to Varanasi and another one from Varanasi to New Jalpaiguri. Must I do them online in advance, or will I still be able to get sleepers (1AC or 2A/C) when I get to Delhi? Also do I have to go to train station or can Indian Tourist Office do this for me?

Always better to book in advance in India, the sooner the better. Reason: lots and lots of people traveling all the time.

You can book online at www.irctc.co.in
You will need to register first Ask for an e-ticket, which you can print on your own PC. |
