Reservation fee ???

Confused about different reservation fees. THe fee showed at http://www.indianrail.gov.in/resrules.html (eg Rs25 for AC2) is applicable to online booking or at International Tourist Bureau?

What is the total reservation fee (on top of ticket fee) for
1) online booking at home;
2) International Tourist Bureau in India;
3) ticket issued at station other than the one boarding the train (eg, buy ticket at Delhi for train between Agra to Jaipur)

Any othe charges involved, like credit card, etc?

thanks.

The reservation fee is the same whether you book online or at International tourist Bureau. You need to pay extra charges like Irctc charges, Credit/debit/bank account charges if you book online. b) No other charges c)Rs 10 if booking from station other than boarding station.

Dear Gaurav,

c)Rs 10 if booking from station other than boarding station.

##This is applicable for SL Class and for all AC Classes, it is Rs.15/-. This is called Enhanced Reservation Fees.

Thanks VSP for information. I thought it to be Rs 10 irrespective of the Class. A doubt though is this per ticket or per passenger?

In a way this promotes online booking as this is almsot equivalent to Irctc charges for a ticket.
