Wanting to book the train from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer on Jan 3 and getting the Regret thing etc. Does this mean closed - finished that's all? Or can it change? Or would I have more luck getting a spot on the AC 3 tier which now says WL 1/WL 1?

Many thanks Whippet

REGRET/WL*

* = there is supposed to be a number, but the website doesn't leave enough space for this, you can sometimes see REGRET/WL1, but that can be REGRET/WL134 (Sleeper Class).

The length of the waitlist is determined by officials, these people have experience of the usual number of cancellations, so will only allow the waitlist to go up to a number that has a small chance of being confirmed.

You wouldn't be able to purchase a 'REGRET' ticket.

I can't remember the exact wording, but it is something like "REGRET, NO TICKETS AVAILABLE"

WL/1 - WL/1 will be a good option, that will almost certainly get confirmed.

SOS: Missing Person...

Please look at this thread, even if you are not in India.: Have you seen Jonathan Spollen?

He could be anywhere now: You might have met him, be able to help, or give information.

Dear Steven,
When the Waitring List is ""Closed"", you will get the reply as REGRET/WL.1
