Regret / RAC4 booking not allowed
I tried to book a ticket by 6608 MAQ - Chennai exp (3A) from Trichy to Chennai and the status was Regret /RAC 4. I understand that it means that max possible WL is over but the current status IS RAC 4. But I was unable to book either e ticket or i ticket. Even if the status is Regret / available , is booking not permitted? Why is it so.

Sorry, no idea.
That's interesting though, I've never seen a 'REGRET/RAC', adn I agree with you, booking should still be allowed, though once it goes to REGRET, booking is not allowed.
