Rajdhani or Nzm Garib Rath?

Hi,

I am looking at booking a train journey between Mumbai and Vadodara in the afternoon. I noticed that the Rajdhani on 3A the fare is Rs735 with a total travel time of 4hr 28 mins. However, the Nizaumuddin Ragib Rath's fare on 3A is Rs336 with a total travel time of 4hr 38 mins.

Which should I book?

They leave at the same time and arrive about the same time. Is it worth paying extra for Rajdhani?

When the diference in journey time is just 10 minutes, there is no point in booking by Rajadhani.

I know that the train selection is no brainer.

I just want to know what do you get with Rajdhani trains that you don't get with Nizamuddin Garib Rath to justify such high price?

In Rajdhanis, you will be served Beverages, Dinner, Lunch etc. depending upon the time of your travel.

But for BCT-BRC Journey, I am afraid, at the most, you might be served with Coffee/Tea because you will get down by about 8.30 p.m.

In Garib Raths these things will be served only on payment basis, if at all they are loaded at the commencement of journey OR at an intermediate station because there is NO Pantry Car Service in GRs, whereas there is Pantry car Service in Rajdhanis.

Go for Garib Rath. Ur just traveling till Vadodra right ?? So why waste some extra bucks just for the beverage's and snacks you get in Rajdhani . Garib rath is the bestest way to travel
