Am travelling in October and am trying to sort out how many days I need to stay at each place before I can book accomodation. Will be arriving on the 9 Oct and flying back on 24/25 Oct. I am trying to work out the trains and it's confusing from the Indian Railway website. Basically the plan is to visit the following places in this order:
Delhi - Agra - Udaipur - Jaisalmer-Jaipur-Delhi or Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Jaisalmer-Udaipur-Delhi Which would be the better and easier train route? Could someone give me the train times and fares. Planning on taking the 2 class sleeper (2 tier, AC), except for Agra, where we would like to take the early morning fast train out of Delhi. Thanks |

DELHI / AGRA / JAIPUR / UDAIPUR / RANAKPUR / JODHPUR / JAISALMER / BIKANER / MANDAWA / DELHI by car, and the sequences and distances were fine. The issue is that Jaisalmer is the farest place, and a Jaisalmer- Delhi is too long. . If there are Jaisalmer-Delhi by night, I would suggest DELHI / AGRA / JAIPUR / UDAIPUR / RANAKPUR / JODHPUR / JAISALMER / DELHI |
