Railway website says chart not prepared even after the train departure from source st
I am trying to check the pnr status after the train departure from the starting point but still I see status as chart not prepared I am boarding train intermediate station not at the starting point I thought chart will be prepared 2 hours before the train starts from starting point am I wrong in my assumption or is this just the website which is not getting updated with the details. It's a bit frustrating because if i know my Wait List is not confirmed I can look for alternative rather than waiting until last minute. Thanks in advance for any responses

If its a long train journey then sometimes they prepare chart from intermediate stations also... so i think chart may not be prepared for the station from which you are boarding... try 3-4hrs prior to departure of train from your station...

PNR NO:4326469783 thanks for your quick replies. Its confirmed I have the chart prepared status now. As said by kedarmad chart is prepared 2 hours before from the station where I am boarding
