Pune - New Delhi / New Delhi - Pune: Train?

Long-time IndiaMike lurker, first-time poster (how refreshing)
I just have a very simple query about the Pune / New Delhi train journey.
I've heard some REALLY great things about the Nizamuddin Duronto Express from Pune to Delhi - how it's one of India's great scenic rail journeys.
Simply, due to scheduling of my trip, I'm wondering if the return journey is exactly the same - that is, the Pune Duronto Express?
Do they ply the same route, just in reverse?
I've looked at times, departure/arrival details for them both - and if they ARE the same route, then it looks like the Pune > New Delhi direction is the most preferable.
Really would appreciate any bit of advice!

Should depend on the scenic parts being traveled during day light, else it isn't much fun traveling a scenic part at night.
