There are two options - either take a 3AC ticket upto Durgapur in 2314 (current status W/L 1) or upto Sealdah in 2314 (WL3) and get down in Dhanbad. If they dont materialse, book in tatkal (tickets even available for tomorrow).

Many thanks for that, i dont know how could i miss the duragapur and sealdah option. silly me.

Anyways, at the moment I have booked the duragapur option as well. Hoping it to be the best option. Let us see.


Few quesitions which i wanted to know, is the tatkal scheme has come down to two days, or is it still same 5 days at the moment.

secondly, for using the NRI quouta in this sealdah rajdhani, what is the criteria. How can i utilise that?

Acctually the date journey is 21st Sep 09 from Kalka to Simla by Shivalik...So is there any chance of getiing confirmed?

I had given my recommendation considering your date of journey to be 21st Sept.. keep an eye on the W/L movement as well as on the ticket status of the next train.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me an idea if we're likely to get confirmed on these two trains we've booked:

4059 Dli Jsm Express
7th August

Jaipur to Jaisalmer in 2AC

RLWL6
RLWL7

and

6345 Netravati Express
15th August

Lokmanyatilak T (LTT) to Eranakulam Jn (ERS) in 2AC

WL2
WL3

Our dates are fairly inflexible so if we can't get these trains we will need to arrange alternative transport on those days, with the Mumbai to Kerala one we're very keen to travel on the Konkan railway so if we can't get that maybe we should get one train to Goa and a second on to Kerala? Or are these likely to be confirmed?

Any help will be greatly appreciated as always

I believe it should be former. Please clarify.

Dear Journey,

##It is for the journeys commencing from 1st August,2009 which means you will get 1.8.2009 tatkal tickets from 26th July to 30 July,2009 whereas on 31st July,2009 you will get the Tatkal Tickets for 2.8.2009 and so on.

we are currently waitlist 3 and 4 for train 0111 from mumbai to goa. the train leaves at 23:05 and its currently 16:00...will it get confirmed or should we sit and wait it out or try and book another class??!!

From what you have said, I could figure out that your date of travel is today !!

How can I advise you to book another class if I dont know which class ticket is waitlisted...

Even if you are to book other class, am not sure, you would get confirmed tickets...

Nevertheless, can you please say which class you are booked in ?
