If its true then I have better chance of getting on the said date as i am having RLWL 8-10

(ii) cancellations from out of confirmed bookings under Originating Station-Intermediate Station or short of Intermediate Station; from where the passenger under RLWL intends to get into the train.

I would just like to say a word of thanks. to you both. the help which you all are doing is fabulous. That too the responses are so prompt and to the point.

I really appreciate your work.

as you might be forgetting the persons whom you interact.

so, let me rewind for few back days. there was crunch situation for the travel from haridwar to dhanbad and the number of tickets were 7. out of which 3 got confirmed while we were chatting here.

and other 4 were on RAC. you all will be find it interesting that , after the prepartion of the chart only one more of our ticket got confirmed. but after i dont know which station, they confirmed the fith ticket as well. hence, all the old and female went on proper births but my brother and myself. which was okay for us.

So just thought of sharing that you all.

and yes as suggested, by you all, while comming from darbhanga, i had to go to haridwar, so my plan was from darbhanga to delhi and then to haridwar. But as suggested, i got down at lucknow and then from there went to lakshar.

I would like to take the train from varanasi to chennai on the 13th of july. Do you think it's possible to get a space with
WL 30/WL 15 ?

edit: Are my chances much lower if i choose "Book my ticket only if all the above passengers are allotted berths in the same coach."??

##First of all, can you this option be exercised when there is only one passenger? Just curious.

##Moreover, once the status moves into Waiting List, except the LB Quota Option in respect of senior citizens & 45+ females (**when travelling alone), no other option will work.

##The train selected by you runs only on Two Days in a week; and this is a crowded train.

##Keep a watch on the movement of your WL.Status.

##Since the tatkal quota commences at 8.00 hrs. on 8th July, give us the status of your ticket precisely on 6th July,2009.

So I just have to buy the ticket and hope for the best?
I have no real other opportunity to get this fast, from varanasi to chennai!?
