Then look for 'Foreign Tourist Quota' on any of the trains you've booked, and if you find availability in the FTQ, go to the Foreign tourist office on the first floor above the entrance hall in New Delhi Station (don't listen to anyone as you approach or enter the station, if they say the station is on fire, put your hand in the fire and see if you get burnt )

Buy the FTQ tickets, and when you get confirmed berths, then, and only then, cancel your original tickets.

Have a quick look on www.erail.in for your trains, select the right date, then change the quota (top right) to Foreign, then search for availability by clicking on the class along the same line as your train.

Not sure if you give enough details (unlikely), but if you have dates and preferred class in your last post, I'll go and have a quick look myself.

I am Saurabh and few days back i booked a ticket to Allahabad from Mumbai both in chappara express and kolkata mail.
The present status is as follows:

The date of journey is 1st May 2009.
for Kolkata mail 1st may 2009 status is PQWL 15
Chappara express 2nd May 2009 status is PQWL 6

Is there any chances that my tickets will get confirmed

One month I have booked a Sleeper class ticket from MMR (Manmad) to Bangalore(SBC) for Mar 8 Karnataka Express Train # 2628 , even after 1 month it moved only one

Most cancellations take place a few days before the date of journey. There is a big possibility of your ticket moving to RAC.

current status for this train is WL 24/WL 18 ... so most likely your ticket will get confirmed .
