Hi. I am RLWL/1 for a journey on Dec 11 from YPR to Vasco de Gama. (VSG).

I have booked 2CL AC. Do you think I have a good chance at being confirmed in a birth on this train. Or should I consider other travel options.

(I never realized until I read the article that RAC was higher than WL?!)

Dear lucie,

The fact that you got RLWL.1 indicates that you are NOT taking the train that starts from Yeshwantpur.

11th December,2009 is Friday and hence, I assume, you must be taking 7311 Chennai-Vasco Express in YPR.

Please confirm.

643-1527261 - PQWL

Can you please let me know what are the chances of getting these confirmed? For which one I should have a spare sleeper class tickets incase there are no chances of getting any one of them confirmed?

For 2779, it is PQWL..........better to keep an alternative.

For 1040, it is RLGN.........reasonably good chances for confirmation. But, if you have any doubt, purchase SL Confirmed Tickets by 1040, if availagle.

I've booked 2 executive chair class tickets on train 2002 Bhopal Shatabdi from Delhi to Agra on 17th November. I'm currently WL1 and WL2.

What do you think the chances are? Given that this train is probably going to be full of tourists (like me

) who are unlikely to cancel, is it worth booking 2 seats in chair class?

Well there are tickets avialable in Foreign Tourist Quota. If you are in Delhi the night before you can utlize that. Search the forum to see information on how to book tickets on this quota. Berths under this quota cannot be booked online.

I have booked 3 tickets on the 6334 Veraval Express from Trivandrum to Goa (madgaon) on 30th Nov on AC 2 tier class. I have been given waitlisted tickets WL7 - WL9. This seems quite low on the reserve list however I am unsure, can anyone give me advise if these will get confirmed. Any thoughts and advise will be greatfully recived. Thank you everyone

I have yesterday booked my two ticket from Mumbai to Delhi in MUMBAI-RAJDHANI Express(2951) for the date of 3-Jan-10(Sun) and i got W/L 17,GNWL & W/L 18,GNWL which current status of now is W/L7 & W/L8.

(

1) I want to know abut the GNWL meaning and what is the chance of its confirmation ...???
(2) Does any state quota exist in Indian Railways & what is that.. ..??
(3) Is there any priority status if i booked MUMBAI-RAJDHANI Express(2951) from Delhi, but not from mumbai.. ..???

1. GNWL - General Waitlist. Chances of confirmation are bright in GNWL compared to others.

2. State Quota - what do you mean - quota for people from a particular state - not really - hope Raj Thackeray doesn't read your post !

3. Even if you book the ticket from Timbaktu, you would have got the same status.

Hi,

I( am Deepa, my parents are travelling to Mumbai on 8th Nov by Mangala Lakshadweep Express(2617). They are travelling in third A/C. One ticket is confirmed the other is in pooled quota w/l-1.
