As its current status is already RAC, most probably it will get confirmed....

BUT ARE YOU SURE IT MIGHT GET CONFIRMED SINCE THERE ARE KIDS ALSO TRAVELLING WITH US OR DO I CATCH THE AGENT TO MAKE THE TICKETS CONFIRMED

99.99% chance that it will get confirmed... cureent status of your ticket has already come down to RAC 58-63 and there are still 16-17 days left..... Dont worry so much it will get confirmed...

I suggest you watch carefully for few days if your ticket status is moving any further.. If it is not moving, better you go for any other option.
B'coz we had a bad experience with this train already twice.. We booked from Guntakal to Dadar for this train in WL before one month prior to travel date. But our ticket status did not move a bit

May be you can try this.. Book the ticket from Chennai to Dadar with boarding as Cuddapah.

The Mumbai Rajdhanis have an extra 3AC coach (BX1) attached almost permanently. However, with a WL of close to 100, I doubt even that can save you.

looks very unlikely to get confirmed......

Nobody is actually sure about whether tatkal WL gets preference over general WL or its vice versa or both of them get equal preference...

But its gud to hear that we hav BX1
Now, our 3AC ticket came to WL80 and 2AC to WL46.
