I have RLWL-9, RLWL-10 in 12311-Kalka Mail on DOJ: 23/9/2011 for Delhi-Kalka in 3AC [PNR-6100756955].

What are chances of getting this ticket confirmed. Can anybody help me????

Most probably it will confirm. You are taking the train from DLI i.e. Delhi, which will see a lot of passengers booked upto DLI.. So stay on.. today is only 4th Sept while there are about 20 days to go.. that is my perception.

Hi AaroshIv'e already booked my tickets from Europe with Cleartrip,it's a really great site,had no problems at all!
I've booked for the 8th October from Agra to Jaipur on the 14863 Marudhar Express train which leaves Agra Fort at 0.6.20.....as i said before i'm Waitlisted with the status RLWL-5 AC2 Class,one person.....and this has also happened with another train booked for the 4th October from New Delhi to Agra on the 1107/ Jhelum train which leaves at 10.20 and i'm waitlisted with the status RLWL-6 AC2 class for one person. I have realized my status number is only made up in both cases of one number together with a minus sign..very strange! If you could give me an idea about my status i'd be very grateful. As i said before i have read through the threads about waitinglists etc and though they go into great detail it IS pretty complicated to understand...at least for me

Is the status of the waitlist for 2A? Any specific reason for taking the early train to Jaipur. Traveling by bus is also an option between Agra and Jaipur.

RL means remote location. You might get this status when you are traveling from and to in between stations. In this case the train starts from Varanasi and ends at Jodhpur, you are traveling from Agra to Jaipur.

Also any specific reason for taking the 10:20 train to Agra from Delhi?

Aarosh,thanks for getting back to me i've chosen these two specific trains with those times to maximize my time in Agra and then in Jaipur,the status on the train to Jaipur is RLWL-6 in 2A by the way.
I had understood by the other threads that both stations are considered remote locations.I dont understand in your reply to me whether you think i have little chance of getting onto those trains from those specific stations and that i should change my choice of station or if i should just opt for buses if i want to travel on those dates

Keep those tickets as a back up plan. There status would change closer to date of journey.

When is your first day in India. The 14863 Marudhar Express train has 3 seats in 3A reserved for Foreign Tourists. These can be booked only when you are in India.

Also for your Delhi - Agra train you can book train 12169 Mangla Lakshadweep shows 5 seats available in 2A. You could book this if you want.

All I am trying to do is ensure that you get confirmed tickets instead of wanting to rely on wait listed tickets. Since you have booked them through Cleartrip, I assume they would be e-ticket and wait listed e-tickets are automatically cancelled and the amount is refunded back to the credit/debit card used to book in 4-5 days.
