You should not be too worried but most probably you would get confirmation closer to date of travel only.

It may bear repeating once in a while that those waitlists usually only really get moving (very) close to the date of departure, as people start canceling their tickets and unused quotas get distributed and so on. (Since the system allows for booking multiple seats and on various trains at little cost, many people will do just that, then cancel anything they don't need in the end.)

Making it even more difficult to predict; a point is however that if you book 3 months ahead, the situation 2 or even 1 months ahead won't tell you that much more.

This should get confirmed.

Recently I booked a tatkal e ticket.Is there any chance to get confirm this ticket? Informations are:

The confirmations under Tatkal Waiting List would arise only when there are cancellations among the Confirmed Tatkal Quota Bookings.

So if there are no cancellations from the confirmed tickets in Tatkal quota then your tickets would not be confirmed.

Status : WL 83,84,85,86,87,88.

May it may get confirmed? can you let me also know what chances are there for it getting confirmed. And how many berths will be allotted for this station.

Apart from this i have a small doubt which i heard is some where is it really true that in case if there are a lot of WL/RAC tickets any additional coaches will be added?

##As it is, WL.83-88 is NOT a comfortable figure, even if it is for SL Class, since the chances for cancellations are very remote. But, still, not only keep a watch on your PNR, but also please try to have a back-up plan. Moreover, 2683 is NOT a daily train.

##In so far as attaching extra-coach is concerned, this decision will be taken on the day of journey, if it is found that this attachment is "operationally feasible".
