Desparetely looking for get the confirmation status..
what % chance i would have for this?

From Station : KJM( KrishnaRajaPuram Jn)
To Station : VZM (Vizianagaram Jn)
Boarding Point : KJM

Train Number - *12253
Train Name - Anga Express
Boarding date - 02 Apr 2011
Class - 3A

Ticket type - E-Ticket Tatkal
Booking Status - W/L 7,CK
Current Status - W/L 5

I want to know the chances of getting this ticket confirmed.
Please let me know if you need any info on this!

@satyanand: Without sounding too optimistic, there is hope.

Anyone able to answer this query? Is tatkal best option (for any class)?

@JFEL: If this says PQWL (most likely or certain) on the ticket or when you do a PNR enquiry, I would suggest book Tatkal. PQWL has low probability.

Train is at 11 PM today and yet the chart is not prepared

Still the tickets are in waiting list

I've done a PNR status search. For 1st train it says booking status WL4 PQWL, current status WL3 (not PQWL).
Likewise the second booking had booking status WL8 PQWL but current status as WL6 (not PQWL)

If they are currently not 'PQWL' but simply waitlisted, does this mean my chances are better?
Also, What does PQWL stand for?

Either way I'd imagine tatkal may be the best option, we shall see!

My tickets chart is prepared with confirmed tickets, great

Aurangabad-Jhansi wud be in PQWL. I have seen PQWL for this train mostly stayin in WL. I wud suggest to go for Tatkal.

Wow, quite a few cancellations should have happened on that train for it to go to AVaiLable in both Tatkal and General.
