##Ofcourse, YES, if your ticket happens to be an E-Ticket, which would get automatically cancelled, if it does not get confirmed, which also means you should not board, even if have a print-out.

##But, if you are having 'unconfirmed normal Sleeper Class Ticket' in your hand, then you 'can' Run After the Conductor, provided if he allows you to do so.:-)

Your response had been very insight full. helped me know a lot about the reservation system. But i didnt find the answer for my last question in ur previous post.

##Please once again go through my reply. I have answered your question assuming that your's is an E-Ticket because nowhere have you mentioned whether you have an I-Ticket OR E-Ticket.

##Hmmm. Still you have NOT mentioned whether your's is a I-Ticket OR E-Ticket.

**If it is an E-Ticket it gets automatically cancelled, if it does NOT get confirmed. No problem!!

**But if it is an I-Ticket (**not a print-out), then you have to get it cancelled across the PRS Counter ONLY.

Sorry, i forgot to mention that i booked a E-ticket. So no problem. It'll get cancelled on its own. I understood that.

Ain't it like, The final chart will be prepared only 3 hrs before scheduled train departure time (18.50 hrs)?
Tat should be 15.50 hrs, right? but you have told it'll be done by 15.00 hrs itself.

So you think if i have luck i may get ticket then :-)

Actually few of my friends are leaving by that train to eranakulam. so i thought i would go along with them. They booked one day before and got RAC. Now thier ticket's are confirmed.

i didnt know this PQWL thing before.. but now thanks to you i came to know a lot more than that.

Normally Charts are finalised Four Hours before the scheduled departure of the Train. Sometimes, it could be three hours or two hours.:-)

Please note, had you purchased your ticket upto Trichur, you would have been in GENERAL QUOTA and PERHAPS your status would also got moved into Confirmed Status.:-)

When you select a train Check the Availability from:

i)From Originating Station to Terminating Station;
ii)From Originating Station to Intermediate Station;
iii) From One Intermediate Station to another Intermediate Station;
iv) From Intermediate Station to Ternminating Station.

For example, in respect of 6321,

**I have checked the availability for SBC-TVC/SBC-TCR/SBC-TUP/SA-TVC and found out the General Quota, the Pooled Quota and also the station where Pooled Quota terminates while booking from Originating Station.

**The SBC-PGT, SA-ERS, and SA-TVC is Pooled Quota whereas SBC-TCR & beyond is General Quota.

##In some long distance trains you will also find Remote Location Quota which is intended for the passengers travelling between a particular Intermediate Station and Terminating Station, which do not overlaps with Pooled Quota.

##There will be RAC, once the Remote Location Quota gets exhausted and after RAC, the RLWL commences.

i am having PQWL - 78 . i had booked my ticket in Auguest Only, but till date , my waitlist is 78 (PQWL) . is there any chance it will Confirmed . Its a E-ticket. and PNR no is - 8444721777.
