New train flagged off from Delhi to Goa

Herz some gud news for IM'ers - the fourth train of the 18 promised Sampark Kranti Express series has been started between Delhi and Goa.

Goa Sampark Kranti Express was flagged off from Hazrat Nizamuddin station at 7.25 am on Saturday (23 Oct). The Sampark Kranti Express trains have been introduced to provide better connectivity between a state capital and Delhi with value-added features such as non-stop run beyond the state and a dedicated staff throughout the run.

Train number 2450/ 2449 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Madgaon Sampark Kranti will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 7.25 am to reach Madgaon at 1.15 pm the next day. In the return direction, the 2449 train will depart from Madgaon at 11.35 am and will reach Nizamuddin at 6 pm the next day. The train will make stopovers at Pernem, Thivim and Karmali stations.
