South Central Railway has decided to continue the services of Express Special (five days a week) trains between Hyderabad and Kolhapur (Train Numbers 07143,07144) for two more trips in each direction, a release said.
Train Number 07143, Hyderabad-Kolhapur Express Special, will depart from Hyderabad at 11.10 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and reach Kolhapur at 10.45 p.m. the next day.
In the return direction, Train Number 07144, Kolhapur-Hyderabad Express Special, will depart from Kolhapur at 7.30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and arrive at Hyderabad at 6.45 a.m. the next day.

Keeping in view the extra rush of passengers during the forthcoming festival season (in the ongoing year), the railway authorities have decided to introduce a weekly special train between Sealdah and New Delhi.
Train number 03113/03114 Sealdah-New Delhi Rajdhani express would be the new weekly train and it would be on tracks soon.
This train will pass through various railway stations including Dhanbad, Gaya, Mughalsarai and Kanpur.
Train number 03113 will leave Sealdah every Friday and train number 03114 will leave Delhi every Saturday. These trains both Up and Down will run from September 19 to November 9. These trains will have one first AC class, three second AC class, 10 AC third class and two SLR coaches.
Importantly, the stoppage of this VIP train at Kanpur Central railway station will give passengers yet another train for places like Sealdah and Delhi. Those willing to travel to other cities like Dhanbad, Gaya and Mughalsarai will also be a benefitted lot.
Meanwhile, with a view to extend more facility to passengers, the railway authorities have decided to add a third AC coach in a select number of trains. This arrangement has been done on a permanent basis, therefore, the extra third AC coach will remain attached with the trains.
The trains with, which the extra third AC coach would be attached include 13201/13202 Rajendra Nagar-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express, 12389/12390 Gaya-Chennai Express. This arrangement would come into affect from September 1 in Lokmanya Tilak Terminus express and from September 2 in Gaya-Chennai Express.

Train No 08003 Santragachi-Yeshwantpur Special leaves Santragachi on August 29 at 8.45 am to reach Yeshwantpur at 6 pm on August 30. Train No 08004 Yeshwantpur-Santragachi Special leaves Yeshwantpur on August 31 at 11.55 pm and reaches Santragachi at 1.30 pm September 2.

En route, the train will depart at Jolarpettai “A” Cabin at 4.55 pm arrive/depart at Salem at 6.20 pm/6.25 pm; Erode at 7.30 pm/7.35pm; Coimbatore at 9.10 pm/9.15 pm; Palakkad at 10.35 pm/10.40 pm; Thrissur at 11.47 pm/11.50 pm; Ernakulam Jn. at 1.20 am/1.30 am; Alappuzha at 2.47 am/2.50 am; and arrive/depart at Kollam at 4.30 am/4.35 am.
Trains to Santragachi
In order to clear extra rush, a special train will be run between Santragachi-Yeshwantpur-Santragachi as detailed below.
Train No 08003 Santragachi-Yeshwantpur Special leaves Santragachi on August 29 at 8.45 am to reach Yeshwantpur at 6 pm on August 30. Train No 08004 Yeshwantpur-Santragachi Special leaves Yeshwantpur on August 31 at 11.55 pm and reaches Santragachi at 1.30 pm September 2.
The train will run from Santragachi via Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vishakapatnam, Samalkot, Rajamundry, Gudur, Katpadi, Jolarpettai and Krishnarajapuram to reach Yeshwantpur, a South Western Railway release said.

In a bid to ease the pressure of passengers during the festival season, Indian railway has decided to run 726 trips of 19 special trains across the country, informed Railway department via a press release.
Here is the list of special trains:
04113 Up Allahabad- Udhampur Weekly Festival Express: This train will run from Allahabad on every Saturday at 03:20 p.m. and reach Udhampur on the next day at 03:50 p.m. during 06.10.2012 to 24.11.2012 (total 08 trips).
04114 Down Udhampur- Allahabad Weekly festival special Express: This train will run from Udhampur on every Sunday at 08:50 p.m. and reach Allahabad on the next day at 10:50 p.m. during 07.10.2012 to 25.11.2012 (total 08 trips).
This train will be equipped with one AC III Tier, eleven Sleeper Class, three Second Class, one Disabled Friendly Second Class cum Luggage Van and one Second Class cum Luggage Van (17 coaches).
This Up and Down train will halt on at Fatehpur, Kanpur Central, Etawah, Tundla, Aligarh, Khurja, Bulandshahar, Hapur, Meerut, Saharanpur, Ambala Cantt., Ludhiana, Jallandhar Cantt., Chakki Bank & Jammu Tawi stations enroute in both directions.

Western Railway is going to introduce a new Weekly Express train between Ahmedabad and Gorakhpur from 31st August, 2012.
Train No. 19409 Ahmedabad-Gorakhpur Weekly Express will leave Ahmedabad at 11.35 hrs o*n every Friday from 31st August, 2012 and reach Gorakhpur at 19.55 hrs, the next day.
Similarly, in return direction Train No. 19410 Gorakhpur-Ahmedabad Weekly Express will leave Gorakhpur at 04.10 hrs o*n every Sunday from 2nd September, 2012 and reach Ahmedabad at 13.20 hrs, the next day.
The train has AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and second class general coaches.
The train will halt at Sabarmati, Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Achhnera Jn., Mathura, Hathras City, Sikandra Rao, Kasganj Jn., Ganj Dundwara, Farrukhabad Jn., Kanauj, Kanpur Anwarganj, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Barabanki, Gonda, Basti and Khalidabad stations in both directions.
Booking for Train No.19409 for the trip of 31st August, 2012 will open o*n30th August, 2012 and for subsequent trips of Train No.19409 from 7th September, 2012 o*nwards will open o*n 3rd September, 2012 at all Passenger Reservation counters.
