Money Debited From The Account But Ticket Not Booked.

I was booking a ticket in IRCTC through Net Banking and money was debited but the page after the payment did not go to the IRCTC website, instead it just stopped.

I checked my email, no new mails. I checked in Booked History, no information there too.

Will the money come back by itself or i have to contact them?

Pretty common. Money will be refunded in a few days. No need to contact them.

But that means i have to book the ticket again, and in the mean time the waiting list will further increase

And i cannot book tickets now - Unable to retrieve due to communication failure.

IRCTC is always slow except at midnights

It happened to me also...but the money was again refunded back after 48 hours.
