Leaving Enough Time
Thank your for allthe help and advice I have found here.
I am catching a flight out of the Delhi airport on Saturday, February 14 at 4:00am. I was thinking of taking a morning train from Jaipur to Delhi on the Friday.(4312 ALA HAZARATH EXP depart 8:15 arrive 14:35). Am I leaving myself enough time? It seems like maybe enough but are the trains dependable. I do not want to miss the flight. |

I also quickly read your post and thought you were catching a 4pm flight.
It seems like a strange question, have Indian railways got such a poor reputation that 13.5 hours may not seem like enough time? The 17:50 Shatabdi departure will arrive in Delhi with plenty of time to get safely to your flight. |

Thank you for you help. Yes, it is a flight that I don't want to miss but I would like an extra day in Jaisalmer. I have not experience with India's rails, things like delays from fog, cancellations and such. (Even here in Canada, it is a question you'd ask about the railway)
Seems like it should be OK. Again thank you |
