Konkan railway

Hello!
Could anybody inform me whether so-called Konkan railway which connects Bombay, Goa and state Kerala is included into
Indian state railway or it is quite private company with timetable different from this which defined on http://www.indianrail.gov.in

the konkan railway is a Public Limited Company, but it is run as a division of indian railways.
