Jaisalmer straight to Agra
Trying to get straight to Agra from Jaisalmer. Am seeing all the good places in between those two on the way out to Jaisalmer. I know the Jaisalmer/Delhi Express train stops in Jaipur at 4:50 a.m., but does it continue on to Agra or to Fatehpur Sikri. I would love a direct train. Can someone please advise? Thanks.

You have to switch trains in Jaipur, it's only a 2 hour wait, plus your train is probably delayed, so it might be less

Book to Bandikui Jn, then change trains, your train gets there at 06:18, then another train gets there at 07.40, take this train to Bharatpur (09:03), then get a bus/taxi to Fathepur Sikri.
It's about 120kms to Fathepur Sikri from Bandikui, so a taxi could be an option if your train is delayed and you miss the connection. You could go from Jaisalmer to Bikaner (by bus), then down to Deshnok to see the rat temple (90 minutes would be enough at the temple and it's very close to the station), then Train 2308A departs Bikaner at 18:30, then Deshnok at 18.58 and gets to Bharatpur (25kms from Fathepur Sikri) at 05.15 and Agra Fort at 06:35 (3A, SL.) |
