Jaisalmer 2AC or Sleeper?
Hello, I will be taking the morning train from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer - I think around 6 or 7 hours long. I currently booked 2AC but am wondering if I should change to Sleeper class. What's your vote?
Thanks! |

If it were me, I'd take sleeper if I was traveling alone - more people, more social. 2AC if with friends/partner - less people, easer to hang out with friends.

We took the sleeper. We had almost a carriage to ourselves, beautiful scenery, very relaxing. Lots of sand coming through the open windows. Had the odd tout coming through the carriage spruiking their hotel, but pretended we had a booking already and weren't hassled too much.

Keep the AC ticket and take a walk through to the Sleeper Class carriages, if you can find a window seat, just sit down and see how it feels, if the Sleeper Class carriages are full, you can always go back to your AC carriage, if there is plenty of space, the ticket man will have no problem with you sitting there.
