Is it possible to Prebook train tickets in Mumbai
I've read in one of the threads that it's possible to buy train tickets at Delhi Station for the rest of the destinations in India. As I plan to arrive in Mumbai first and Delhi last, would it be possible to buy train tickets in Mumbai for Goa to Agra, and Jaipur to Delhi?

no problem
go to a computerized train station. they can book all over india. i think they have also a tourist counter in mumbai victoria station.

You can reserve train tickets at any computerised reservation office in India, for any train. You can also book tickets over the internet and have them delivered at a pre-determined address in a city specified by the Indian Railways.
