IRCTC - 'Unable to retrieve train list' - Oct 2011

I'm not able to book eticket from irctc.co.in from the past 1 month.(sept 2011)
Whenever i click the 'Find Train' button after feeding all the details in 'Plan my Travel' its giving an error : 'Unable to retrieve train list'.
I tried using :
different browsers,
different User Id,
different Internet provider,
different system... but still the problem remains the same!.
do any of u facing the same problem??...
any solution??..Plz..reply its urgent.

Just a guess. Do you have javascript enabled ?

yes..javascript is enabled

Did you try clearing cookies?

yup.. i even tried logging in using different browsers like
mozilla
Chrome,
IE,
Flock

still the same!!!

ok..guys finally the problem is solved
and it turns out to be very silly!

the problem was wit the source station..
whn i typed 'Bangalore City' in the 'From' field..two station names had come :
Bangalore CY JN (SBCN)
Bangalore CY JN (SBC)
and i was choosing the first one... which is wrong.
whn i selected 'Bangalore CY JN (SBC), i'm able to see the train list

And all the trains go from Yeshvantpur, not SBC...............Everybody knows that, even my cat, so no need for IRCTC to make it easy.

(I'm poking fun at the IRCTC website, your example is just one of hundreds of searches that suffer the same problem, IRCTC entered all the data poorly, and didn't test the website enough, yet they charge for their services)
