IRCTC-Failed Payment. Now what?

Hello everybody,
a couple of days ago, the IRCTC booking site didn't accept my credit card for one of my bookings. I booked while places were still available, now the train is booked solid. I can still call up my order in the failed payments link but I don't know, how to pay from there, I'm somehow missing a link. Can someone help me?
P.S.: I made another three orders that day that went well. Does something like this happen often?

IRCTC only accepts 60 days advance bookings.

http://www.indianrail.gov.in/resrules.html

Advance reservations are made generally up to 60 days in advance for all classes and all trains. The period of advance reservation (ARP) is exclusive of the day of departure of the train.

I don't think you can pay for failed bookings. Instead you have to replan your trip and try to pay again.

I haven't had any luck using Mastercard, so I switched to using my Visa and have had little problem. Once when paying there was a failed communication and my card was charged without booking the ticket. My card was credited back the money in a few days time.

Hope this helps.

Ive had the same problems with failed payment, then the money was charged, it was then refunded. The system is frustrating but works eventually and I have never had a problem with refunds or cancellations. PERSEVERE

if the money has been charged to your credit card or bank account, it gets refunded in 3 days.

In any case, you have to replan and pay again.
