indrail pass

hello everybody, we're new to this forum. actually i'm new to the whole 'forum'-thing. let's see how it works out.. we're going to india for two months, exploring dehli, agra, rajhastan and then we go further to the south. but we're not sure if we should go for the indrail pass, because we've read it's actually quite expansive and maybe we'd be better off just paying for the tickets.
we were also planning an internal flight from udaipur to chennai, but also this seems too expensive. hopefully someone can provide us with some good advice, we can need it! thanx and namaste!

Have a look at the following link for info about an Indrail pass.

Is an Indrail pass worth the money?

A flight would be expensive and you would need to change planes at Mumbai.

If you did fly between Udaipur and Chennai, an Indrail pass would not be a good idea.
