I am stuck- Citibank payment for train tickets?

when i tried to do my booking in the IRCTC website, iam surprised to see that Citibank Credit Cards are not accepted for payment!!!!!!!!

I have only india issued citibank visa n master card with me.
Is there any possible way to do the booking?
anyone have any idea why the citibank credit cards are not included for the payments?

That's strange since I booked two train tickets to mangalore online(IRCTC website) using citibank credit cards. You wouldn't find any Citibank Credit card listed..all you have to do is just click on any available credit card option (it's called a gateway point). That will bring you to a page where you just enter your credit card details, and you're done. Now, it might ask you for an online PIN number which if you don't have it already, just sign up for it and wait probably 5 mins and then get back to the IRCTC website and choose one of the gateways (credit cards listed) and give in the necessary details.

cheers

There's a fee every time you use your credit card for a purchase. In most cases, the merchant pays the fees. Apparently IndRail does not pay those fees, so YOU get to pay them.
