How busy are the trains in November?

Well only 6 more sleeps and I'll be in India! I have been trying to get an idea about my train times etc - the posts above have been incredibly helpful.

I was planning to book all my train tickets when I arrive in Dehli but should I be worried about availability in November?? I'm on a pretty tight schedule (Dehli, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur in 8 days) and I've just started to panic that I'll arrive and wont be able to get on a train to these places.

How much in advance do I need to book?

depending on what class you are planning to travel.. 1st class is usually available even at the last minute.. the lower classes may be sold out.
