hospet and sorrounding areas to goa
Please suggest me a night train or any other public conveyance from Hospet or sorrounding areas to Goa. The Indian railway website shows only two trains starting in morning. I am averse to daytime traveling.

There are overnight buses with bunks which aren't too bad, through Pedros or Pablos or Paulos tours, something like that. Think it's 350 for seat, 450 for bunk.

There are no overnight trains from Hospet to Goa.
Train 7309 (starts from Bangalore) departs Hubli at 23:45 and gets to Madgaon at 04:53 and Vasco Da Gama at 06:00, this service only runs on Tuesdays and Sundays. |

The day train from Hospet to Goa is actually quite a nice journey with plenty of scenery.
