Help please! IRCTC rejecting all payment attempts.

Hi all.

I'm going round the twist trying to book my train tickets! No probs with registering at IRCTC a few days ago, and have since sucessfully bought 2 tickets.

But since then, I have repeatedly got a message "rejected by risk" when I try to pay. And by repeatedly, I must have tried at least 20 times a day!! I've asked the internet with no luck. I rang my bank, and my card is not blocked or anything. My husband's account is the same; ditto with any other card I try. I really need my tickets and any tips would be very gratefully accepted! I've used cleartrip in the past, but it doesn't seem as good now. Also, foreign quota seems to be only available on irctc?

I think the earlier way of booking them at the train station in person is also possible. However the fares are 1.5 times the normal fare.

Yes I did try this, I waited a full 24 hours still no luck.

Try speaking with ATOM customer service. Also try using a different browser.

Thanks for the tips. I tried everything suggested with no luck. I gave up and waited a few days, and was then able to book.
