Goa / Hospet Trains
Can anyone enlighten me on the train schedule for Goa / Hospet?
I am aware that the train travels to Hospet 3 times a week from Goa (Wed/Sat/Sun?). I also read somewhere that the return train from Hospet to Goa runs on Tuesdays and Fridays only. What has confused me is that in Rough Guide it says that there is a daily train that departs Hospet for Goa every morning at around 8.40am. Is this true? I can't figure out the Indian Rail website so am hoping someone here has the knowledge. Thanks! |

check the konkan railways website. open the timetable and u see all trains,included vasco-vijaywada express.
according the scedule that train departs 8.50 from hospet and arrives 19.15 to goa. but not every day,only wed and sat. |

Check the 'Train Information' link below, it has the train times and costs for about 280 routes including Goa - Hospet.
The train departs Hospet daily, but 4 days a week it terminates at Hubli, only 3 days a week does it go all the way to Goa. |

The 7227/7228 runs between Hospet and Vasco on 3 days in a week. Ex.Hospet on TUE/FRI/SAT Ex.Vasco on WED/SAT/SUN ----- There is a daily train from Hospet to Londa. ..... 38 HPT HOSPET JN 2 05:10 05:15 434 2 39 KBL KOPPAL 2 05:44 05:45 463 2 40 GDG GADAG JN 2 06:43 06:45 519 2 41 UBL HUBLI JN 2 08:35 08:50 577 2 42 DWR DHARWAR 2 09:13 09:15 598 2 43 LWR ALNAVAR JN 2 09:44 09:45 634 2 44 LD LONDA JN 2 10:38 10:40 668 2 .............................. ............................
