Gaya to Varanasi

I need to go from Gaya to Varanasi. I have booked all of my travel except this. We have tickets on the train from Varanasi to Delhi Dec. 24 at 1915. I would like to spend as much of the day in Bodh Gaya as possible, but only one train arrives in Varanasi in the afternoon. It gets there at 1836, so I'm concerned that if we book this train we will not make the next one. I can't find any information on a bus between Gaya and Varanasi, so I'm wondering what my options are. Can I go from Gaya to another city to get back to Delhi that night or should I fly? I'm exhausted from all of this research, and now I'm stuck. The train tickets are easy to cancel if I need to, so hopefully I can figure something out.

If I understand your query, you are coming from Gaya to Varanasi just to catch a train to Delhi. If that is the case, you can go directly from Gaya to Delhi. There are many trains. Click on the link below to decide on your travel.

I second post#2.

otherwise you can take train from Gaya to Mughalsarai and then take a auto to Varanasi (approx 45 mins). there are plenty of trains from Gaya to Mughalsarai (MGS)

Khak, I feel the OP wants to come to Varanasi just to catch the train to Delhi !
