hi friends,
1) I am travelling by 1st AC on Marwar Express (train No. 2964) & Mussoorie Express. 2) I am travelling by 3rd Ac on Ramakpur Express & Ranikhet express . My Question is - does food is incl in the train fare or we have to buy it seperately. Amit |

I think only the Rajdhani includes food in the ticket price, so you should plan on bringing food with you on the train, ordering from the railroad fellows who come in to take your order (sometimes there's a kitchen on the train, other times the food is brought on at a particular station) or buy from the platform or the vendors who will make themselves visible.
I never get on a train without having some fruit and something easy to eat (like hard-cooked eggs) and a packet or two of biscuits; that way I'm prepared if the train misses the meal stop (I've had that happen) or I don't like the looks of what's on offer. |

My own policy is to always take a tiffin with me and have a recently made meal put inside (there's usually restaurants near the stations).
I prefer not to eat railway food - it always looks dodgy to me. Cheers Zoltan

Hi Amit,
None of the trains you are travelling will offer you food on the house. You will have to pay for for your food. Cheers Hymz
