Extension of railway reservation possible?
We have booked tickets from Pune to Madgaon(Goa)with railway ticket price being Rs 252 per ticket in sleeper class.
After after getting the hotel booking done we found out that it would be more convenient for us if we go upto the last station, that is, Vasco, which is only about 45 mins journey from Madgaon. Now the problem is, from Madgaon to Vasco the ticket price is coming to Rs 140/-per person. Is there any system in Indian Railways, where by the reservation( if available) can be extended from Madgaon to Vasco on the same ticket? Can we get the cost benefit, which is otherwise not available, if we purchase seperate ticket/reservation from Madgaon to Vasco? Kindly let me know.

Easy !
On the day of your journey ! Ask the TTE (The man who will come to check your tickets) to extend your journey. He'll give you an official receipt and will do it.
