Now power outlets are being provided in AC coaches in major trains. Shatabdi Exp. also has this facility. It is 230 Volts, 50 Hz. So check compatibility. If your devices work on 110 Volts buy an adapter.

The plug has 3 pins arranged in a triangular fashion. All the three are ROUND. The pin on the vortex is thicker and is used for earth. some times only two pin sockets are provided.
Don't worry you can buy adapters of all sorts in all cities in India.
