Mamata Banerjee said that Railways will run two special trains i.e. Vigyan Express and Commonwealth Games special in the month of October and November, 2009 respectively. These trains will take the technology and sports to the door steps in the remote areas of the country. Talking about Duronto Express train she told that Duronto trains will consist of four classes of accommodation viz. Ist AC, 2 AC, 3 AC and Economy Class. The fare of economy class will be Rs. 200/- less than the fares of Rajdhani Express trains and also that the Duronto trains will cover the distances in 2 hrs. less than the Rajdhanis On September 18, 2009 2 Durontos,one from Chennai to New Delhi and the other from Sealdah to New Delhi will be flagged off. Other Duronto services also likely to be flagged off shortly.

2261 Mumbai-Hwrah duranto will run every tue and sat. The train will depart mumbai at 17.15 and reach howrah at 19.40 to next day.

2262 Hwrah-Mumbai duranto will run every mon and fri. The trsin will depart hwrah at 08.20 and reach mumbai at 10.30 the next day.

2263 NZM DURONTO EXP will depart Pune every tue and fri.
Pune 11.10 -- Nizamudin 07.10

2264 PNE DURONTO EXP will depart NZM every Mon and thurs.
Nzm-11.00 ---Pune 07.20
