Duronto 3AECO and SMB

Does the 3AECO of the newly introduced Duronto train have the SMB (Side Middle Berth) or has it been removed even from this train. Also I notice that the price difference between a 3AC and 3AECO is negligible so why is there a concept of 3AECO?

SMB is there in Duronto, I guess 2/3 coaches. Answer to the second part lies with the mindset.

It has side middle berths, which is why the 3AC economy class was introduced, and is proving to be rather unpopular.
