Duranto Sleeper

I'm curious.

I've heard that food & bedding is also provided in Duranto SLeeper class.

Can anyone give feedback on this ?
Any experiences to share ?

I have been informed, Duronto carries all the facilities of Shatabdi & Rajdhani.

But IRCTC Blog says: "The fares for the Duronto trains are less when compared with other prestigious super fast rail services such as Rajdhani Express which ply between the same destinations. The fare in the new "economy" AC 3-tier class (similar to that of Garib Rath Express) of Duronto would be Rs. 200 less than the fares, when for Rajdhani Express. The fares will not include food and catering costs."

Cost of meal is included within the ticket.
For Non-Veg, you would be served only egg.
Usually the meal consists of lunch and dinner (If any) and snacks aren't served(Except Tea)
##
##
Bedding is served on payment of Rs. 25/- (Subject to availability)
(Same as Garib Rath)

##When I travelled by Duronto from Yeshwantpur to Howrah in SLEEPER CLASS, it was normal food; no ice cream & other 'special' items that are served to AC-classes.:-)

##The food served to us in SL Class is "EGGY", that is, EGG in Lunch, EGG in Dinner, EGG in Breakfast and finally EGG in Lunch, apart from Roti, little rice, little curry. No 'curd' :-)

Menu for Sleeper Class also excludes any evening snacks!! This is perhaps the most painful excuse why one should not travel by Sleeper Class in Duronto.

I've also heard so...
There was an article in our regional newspaper regarding the EGGY meals...
