According to the IR timetable, the coaches are attached at Dhone, not Guntakal. For my purpose, it does not matter really, as long as I am fast asleep and reach Goa

##But, in Page No.274 of the current Southern Zone Zone Time Table which came into force on 1st July,2008, it was very clearly mentioned that the Transfer Junction is GUNTAKAL in so far as KCG-UBL & KCG-VSG Coaches are concerned.

##Unfortunately, this fact has NOT been incorporated into PRS.

##I myself have travelled by 7603 on 25.7.2009 from Kachiguda to Dronachalam. On that day, the KCG-UBL coaches have NOT been disconnected in DHNE!!!

I looked at the IR for the Goa-Kacheguda and found outthe schedule - I have madea PDf of it.

What is surprising, taking note of Route #, there is a wait of almost 5 hours in Dhone !! Never heard of such a thing on IR before. I have color-coded for easy visualization.

So maybe, I will take the train from Kacheguda to Goa but will fly back.

Hi!

I would like to buy ticket for october, but I need help.
I would like to go from New Delhi (NDRS - near Paharganj) to Jaipur, from Jaipur to Agra and from Agra to Varanasa with sleeper. Can you please wrtite me train stations from wich we should go. In Agra we would like to be near Taj Mahal and in Varanasa we would like to sleep near Ganges gates. I hope you can help me, so we won't buy wrong tickets.

Hello I am trying to book a train from Bangalore to Hospet in October, to visit Hampi. It /sounded/ easy enough to take the Hampi Express but I cannot find this train on the reservations page. (I'm looking at cleartrip.com if that makes a difference, the Indian Railway site was not cooperating)

Has the Hampi Express been suspended? The only alternative I see is the Hubli Passr (583) which takes 15 hours, arriving at 1 pm the next day... I could do this (grumbling) but the overnight Hampi Express sounded much more convenient. Anyone have info on the trains from Bangalore to Hampi/Hospet?? Thanks so much.
