Dharamsala to Haldwani

Hi all,
Does anybody know of a good way to go to Haldwani from dharamsala. I'm looking for a way which has more rail travel rather than bus travel. Any ideas on the same would be appreciated.

jivan- There are a few ways of travelling from Dharamshala to Haldwani by trains.
a) You can take a taxi to Pathankot (Chakki bank railway station) or try the hill train.
b) Take train#0414 from Chakki bank to Moradabad (dep:1540, arr:0120)
c) Switch to either train#5013 (dep:0235) or train#4120 (dep:0320) from Moradabad to Haldwani. Total time is 13.5 hrs to 15 hrs (train time) + 3 hrs taxi time

If you don't feel comfortable switching trains in the middle of the night, you look for trains from Pathankot/Chakki bank to Delhi and then from delhi to Haldwani. This though will take about 7-9 hrs longer.
