Delhi - Agra - Jaipur

I want to go from Delhi to Agra by train just for the day and then move on to Jaipur by train in January. Is it possible to do in one day and how long before should I book the train tickets, also I just want to visit the Taj in Agra, is there somewhere in the station I can lock my backpack up? Theres so much info in the LP I am getting so confused. any recommended places to stay would also be a huge help.

There should already be heaps of information on this forum about this. It's probably the most common topic. But in Agra, you'd also definately want to go to Agra Fort.

There are left luggage facilities at Agra Cantonnment Station.

I suggest an early start for Agra on this train!

And perhaps an early evening departure for Jaipur
