I decided to book rail tickets through SD Enterprises as they're recommended in several guide books and on a few internet sites including the india Railway website. I sorted out details of the train journeys we'll be making and sent them through, then received a costing. I sent a cheque through almost two months ago but it hasn't been cleared and I haven't received confirmation of booking.
I have rung them twice and they assure me all is in hand but they're busy with booking for dates sooner than ours (we're not going until March - April) I'm probably being over anxious but has anyone else had experience of booking rail tickets with them? They would seem to be a good option as they're in the UK and it's easy to contact them. |

Don't worry, many indiamike members (including myself) have used them without problems.
They will be very busy at the moment with Xmas & New Year bookings. One reasuring thing, they actually run a shop so you can meet them in person (rather than just a website), I have met them many times and they are usually very busy. |
