Booking Shivalik Express
Hi! I am trying to book the Shivalik Express from Kalka to Simla (Shimla). Both clear trip and makemytrip do not offer this route. The only way I can book is directly through IRCTC, BUT I live in the U.S. and can not use a foreign credit card on the IRCTC website! Help! How can I book this train in advance?
Irctc will accept Amex from outside India. If that isn't an option for you then you could look at Foreign Tourist Quota tickets when you get to India. There are 8 for each trip and they don't seem to sell out very often.
