Booking online

Hangia !
sanjay is right- we donot face any problem in booking online using CC.
As I understand your issue- I think there cold be only two reasons
1. If you are not behind firewall
2.There is some issue with you MC.

FIREWALLS: Some money transection websites do face problem if you are behind firewall. This is not with everyone but some websites do face such problems. I am not a computer related person-but feel that this could be a problem.

CARD ISSUES: Kindly check this with your MC- your limits or what you are choosing and typing while trying to book.

In anycase- donot reveal your CC details to anyone. If everything fails- book through some agency.

Question

Cheers for the suggestions Himadventures, both were reasonable, tried with turned off firewall, but unfortunatly got the same result. Have 1000€ set on my MC as limit, that should be enough for 1464 Rps

I attach a screenshot of the filled out card details form (ofc filled with 1s, not the real numbers ) So I would like to ask you, whether you just do the same, click on buy and it doesnt ask anything after it and you just get the confirmation (because it would be only communication problem then, tho a bit strange one ).

I guess I will keep trying this weekend, if no luck I obtain an Amex debit card or harass one of my collegues to buy me 9x2 tickets over the next weeks.

Getting this message:
You Were Trying To Use icici Payment Gateway And The Transaction CouldNot Proceed Due To Communication Problem .

There was a problem in processing the transaction due to one of the following reasons:

* You have used Back/Refresh button of your browser.
* You may have processed the transaction from more than one window.
* Bank has resent the transaction with the same transaction ID.

To check if the ticket is booked, please click on the "Booked Tickets" link on the left navigation. If not booked, you may proceed to book again. If excess amount is found to be debited from your account, the same will be credited back to your account.
We regret that your Transaction could not be processed.
I have been having these problems for the last two mornings,
when last week i booked, no problem.
so far my c.c. has had two payments taken ( i checked with bank ), but i have "no tickets" and three attempts have failed.
I have no idea if this mornings attempts have been taken from my card yet, and i still do not have the tickets.
It`s a serious problem for sure.
Martin.

I posted the following in loads of threads (including this one) to avoid repeat questions.

I-Ticket = book on the net, have it delivered to an address in India, a hotel or travel agent for example, you can no longer pick these tickets up at the station.

E-Ticket = Book on the net, then print the ticket on your home computer.

You would then need to just show the E-ticket with the same ID used mentioned when buying the ticket. (e.g. Passport)

No worries mate, this morning I went for my newspaper, looked everywhere and couldn't find it, then I saw it in my hand, must have lifted it up to look below it.

As I complained a few times about the booking with MC, I have to mention that with an AMEX debit card, I made 3 bookings without sweat in 10 min.

Yeah, it`s been hard work for me this time round,
every time i tried i put it down to "busy time" or "was lucky last time, stick with it " but every time , the site took the
money for the tickets, I`m thinking, no prob. be patient, not a
big problem for me, i have the time, i didn`t realise that every failure meant a payment going through, I even tried a different p.c. and a different credit card! doh!.
I`m not worried at all, I`m sure the money will be put back,
however, the total for my 10 "failed" bookings now stands at
almost one hundred sterling.
I still don`t have my tickets!!.
Tomorrows another day.
Martin.

Martin.

Im having the same problem. This whole booking tickets has been a pain from start to finish. I have not had responses from emails, money taken from my account and now the site has crashed.

ive spent money i dont have and still have no tickets. is this just the norm with this website? i am at my wits end and am now worried that the whole time i am there is going to be this bureaucratic pain in the backside...

if my flights were refundable id be changing my plans right now...

he he, sorry

tickets on web.

Try not to get wound up about it.
A few weeks ago I booked train tickets with no
problem at all.
Rough with the smooth, as the saying goes.
I have ceased trying for now, I will try
when I am in India for the couple of tickets i
need, you could try another p.c., that might work
for you,
good luck,
Martin.
