Boarding at the next station of the booked boarding station

Hi I have booked a 3A ticket(2 persons) in Kyq Ranchi Express(15662) from New Alipurduar Jn to Asansol Jn. But I want to board the train from Hasimara Jn which comes after Alipurduar Jn, and distance is 35 kms. Will there be any problem? I am asking wheather TTE can assign the seat to someone else during the time(nearly 45 minutes)? Please reply.

typically YES. if the TTE has done the checking & noted the berth empty, he will mark passenger not traveled & may allot your berth to RAC or W/L or any other passenger wishing an upgrade.
unless this is a typical option availed by most of the passengers (e.g. though people book from Mumbai Central, they usually board at Borivali & TTE would usually wait till Borivali, though he does not HAVE to), there is a finite risk. better option would be to get the boarding point changed at the reservation center.
