Bangalore-Hampi-Goa

What is the best way from Bangalore to Hampi and then Goa or is it better to get from Bangalore to Goa first and from there to Hampi?

Advice much appreciated! Thanks

Bangalore to Hampi there is a very convinient night train (Hampi Exp). I think it starts from Bangalore City (SBC) at 9 in the evening and reaches Hospet (the nearest railway station for Hampi) in the early morning. From there you can catch a local bus (every 20min or so) to Hampi.

Also there are a few buses playing from Hospet to Goa.

Hi Indiafan,

The best way from Bangalore to Goa via Hampi is through Mysore, visiting afterwards Halebid and Belur (you can stay in Hassan) and from there to Hampi. After Hampi you can visit Badami, Aihole and Pattadakal (staying in Badami), From Badami go direct to Goa. You can see the art of the Chalukia, the Hoysala and Vijayanagar empires, from VII to XV centuries.
