Are we sat next to each other?

On Thursday 27th September I am travelling from Jaipur to Delhi on train number 12016 departing at 17:50 and arriving at 22:40

I've booked 2 tickets in "First AC"

The seat numbers i have been given are:

E1-0029(Window Seat)
E1-0030

I'm trying to work out if i will be sat next to my girlfriend or not. I've looked at the thread on the forum for the carriage layouts but that looks like we aren't sat together

WHats the best solution? Cancel the tickets and try to book again? For some reason this train isn't showing up on cleartrip anymore....

I booked the tickets several weeks ago

I've travelled on a couple of Shatabdi trains like the one you are booked on. In the Executive Class Chair cars there are two seats on either side of the central aisle. 1&2 are together on one side of the aisle and 3&4 are the other side. I'm pretty certain that 29&30 will be next to each other.

Whatever you do DON'T CANCEL until you have booked something better or you might finish up without confirmed tickets.

I'm not sure why you couldn't find the train on Cleartrip. It comes up OK for me.

In any case, you can request the passenger sitting next to you, to swap the seats. Maybe check with the TC to arrange for you guys to sit together.

In case you are not seated next to each other , just request the passenger next to you, don't bother the TC !
